Guatemala Trip #2 Report

From March 6-10, 2008 we visited Paulo in Guatemala City. We stayed at the Radisson which is located in Zona 10 aka Zona Viva. There are a lot of nice restaurants and shops in this zone of the city. This is where the US Embassy is located as well.

We spent the week getting to know Paulo better since we only saw him for about a day our first visit. We noticed that he is full of personality as seen in his numerous facial expressions. He made a lot of noises such as cooing and grunts. He of course loves to wrestle around and had gut wrenching laughs when dad played the claw game. Paulo was cruising by pulling himself up to furniture and walking with support.

Some of the highlights of our trip included the daily walks in his stroller, the nightly baths, eating at restaurants, playing in the park, giving bottles, feeding time, a hair cut and of course the diaper changes. Oh yeah, we enjoyed his nap time too.

During the trip he had a chance to meet his new friend Erick when Lee Anne came for a visit. That was a great day spending time with friends and watching the boys play.

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. --Jesus of Nazareth
